Last winter all of us in this area experienced a winter storm that damaged many trees and downed many power lines. Trees of all sizes were naturally pruned by the high winds and the heavy ice. The natural pruning that occurred was followed the pruning of human hands in order for the trees to produce more in the future.
The Lord continues to do a work in my life and has shown me recently that every branch that bears fruit, must be pruned in order for it to bring forth more fruit.
1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John 15:1,2
The Lord has pruned me in several areas of my life this year. The pruning must take place fore the harvest. Although the pruning process has been difficult at times, the Lord does it so that more fruit can be produced and that God himself would be glorified.
8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. John 15:8
It’s a supernatural pruning that only the hand of the Lord can do.
I am thankful for the way the Lord has provided the financial support this year to sustain the daily operation of Nebraska Christian Schools. I am also thankful for those of you who pray for the school and the students on a regular basis.
It is a blessing to be able to walk alongside you at Nebraska Christian Schools in this battle for the hearts and minds of today’s youth.
