International

Nebraska Christian Schools has been welcoming international students since the 1970s. For many years, only one or two international students attended NC each year, and the majority of these students came from Japan. These students received tutoring support, but no ESL classes were offered.

The international program as it exists today began in 2001 with the arrival of Superintendent Dr. David J. Edgren. Under Dr. Edgren's leadership, NC's international program grew to include students from China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Macau, South Korea, Spain, Mexico, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, the Dominican Republic, and Germany.

The international program continues to thrive today, and we currently have 32 students from six countries studying at Nebraska Christian. English aquisition and immersion are some of the benefits of studying with us.

We have recently added a dorm blog to keep you in touch with what's going on at the dorm.  Our blog can be found at www.nebraskadormlife.blogspot.com.
